I really enjoy coming up with logical spins to the sparse information that’s given in the game. Seems to me like they would always brand Casteless, have groups that just go down regularly to find anyone without one that way there’s no chance of being tricky and getting by looking normal when you’re FILTH. >:U
To quote the Dragon Age Wiki: The nobles make sure we casteless get tattooed so they know who we are when they see us. That way they know who to spit on, right? Helps us, too. Makes it easier to figure out whose pockets are worth picking.
So here Sinne recants the fellas on how she got her tattoos. She doesn’t really care about how she came about them, even if it was through rather unpleasant means. I mean, can’t change what happened, right? So she just deals.
Alistair is still a squishy man-baby with her though. SHE SAID SHE’LL CUT YOU AND SHE MEANS IT.
Used some party banter to get the ball rolling.
Also panel with wailing kid!Sinne is the best damn part. God, so fun to draw it must be illegal.

I’m not even sure Alistair would actually care this much about the codex, but I knew he’d be the best one to end up doing this with Sinne because he’s a sweet little muffin and has a crush on her. Seriously, we were at the Arl’s estate at the end of the game before he finally realized she liked Zevran. What a freaking moron. -__- Gotta love him.
Sinne, having grown up in the slums, tries to be tough but deep inside she is a mush and she considers Alistair her bffl since they’re the last Grey Wardens. She flirts to get her way, usually without meaning too because she likes to joke around, or just manipulates with her unholy amount of adorable, also without always meaning to. Having never had anyone read to her before she couldn’t resist in the end. Story time now must never end.”
